About Us

We are Michael Evans, my wife Tine and our daughter Amy, also my parents Frank and Doreen. We have been holidaying in Cornwall and Devon for many years and decided that when my parents finally retired we would all sell up and move to the west country to enjoy the fresh air, wonderful countryside and fantastic beaches. Glebe barn, with the twin cottages of Tawny and Apple Tree gave us the living space we needed, with the added bonus of the chance of running holiday lets. I have been coming to Whitsand Bay since I was a young boy, and we have rented many holiday lets over the years and always envied the lifestyle and wanted to give it a try for ourselves. We loved the location of the property, it is very private as we are surrounded by woodland at the heart of the Rame peninsula, but perfectly situated for visiting the many sights and places of interest in the area, and the good transport links make it easy to visit Plymouth, Exeter, Torbay, Newquay, Salcombe and even St Ives in about an Hour.

We speak English and Danish and welcome visitors from all over the world.
